This talk discusses the challenges behind a practical, consumer-ready, high-dynamic-range imaging and video pipeline and proposes practical solutions for video capture, temporally stable tone mapping, and inverse tone mapping. It focuses on the changes necessary to prepare solutions for today's hardware (for example, TVs and set-top boxes).
